Meaningless National Polls Show Lead Widening for Hillary

USATodayGALLUP has a new poll out today that shows Democrat former First Lady Hillary Clinton well out in front of Senator Barack Obama, 48%-26%. The national poll continues to show Clinton with a double digit lead in the race. However, as the mainstream media (MSM) breathlessly reports news of the meaningless national poll, its important to recall that in the state-level polling is actually what matters. And in New Hampshire, for example, Clinton holds a commanding, okay - well, actually they are tied at 31-31% in a July 31st poll. Conventional wisdom stays that the media prefers conflict and hot competition - so why isn't this a bigger story?
