The National Republican Congressional Committee announced today that they will be running radio advertisements in Connecticut's 5th Congressional district this August as targeted one-term Congressman Chris Murphy returns home from Washington. Though the Democrats have been in control of both the House and the Senate for months, they still have not been able to get even one appropriations bill to the President's desk. Ineptitude and ethical foibles aside, the Democrats were sent to Washington to do the work of the people - and they don't seem to be able to do much of anything.

It was all about the war - they got nothing else - not even an exit strategy.
