Young Republicans Making A Difference

Connecticut Republicans have two young reasons to be encouraged about the future of our party and our state. Both are 18 and already making an impact in their communities.

Chad Ciocci is a member of the Trumbull Town Council. A former President of the Trumbull High School Republicans, Chad just completed his freshman year at Fordham University. Chad recently attended the Republican State Central Committee meeting in Bridgeport and got a well deserved standing ovation. He will be running for reelection this fall.

Steve Loiler of Montville, was recently appointed to serve out a term on the Board of Education. Steve, an Eagle Scout and former member of the Chesterfield Fire Company, joined the local town committee when he was 17. He is currently enrolled in Three Rivers Community College, studying criminal justice.

"He's young, fresh, eager to try new ideas and jump in with both feet," said Ellen Hillman, chairman of the Montville RTC.

Who says we don't have a bench?
