Democrats Fear Fred Thompson

Further signs today that the energy behind a potential Fred Thompson candidacy has the Democrats biting their fingernails anxiously as the Democratic National Committee raises questions regarding the former Tennessee Senator's "testing the water" committee. According to the very personable Mike Allen of The Politico, the DNC is attacking Thompson for the hypocrisy of being a reformer while continuing to hold out on filing a full financial report.

It's clear that the national Democrats are shaking when they consider a good ole boy like Fred Thompson standing in the way of yet another Clinton in the White House.
