Republicans Lead the Way on Gas Prices

Governor M. Jodi Rell is stepping up efforts to bring down the price of gas as we head into the summer driving season. The Governor has set up a special section on her website to call attention to the high gas prices and the actions that she is leading to reduce them.

The House Republican Caucus continues to bring innovative solutions to the table in a strong and unified fashion - and high gas prices are no exception. The House Republicans have proposed a summer gas tax holiday from Memorial Day to Labor Day, in order to bring some relief to Connecticut families as we work, play, and live.
