The Meriden Record-Journal had a piece today about local Democrats defending the actions of Senator Tom Gaffey. The Hartford Courant had a piece about Chairman Healy and others calling for a probe into Sen. Gaffey's actions. Chairman Healy has spent the day on the telephone with a dozen different reporters from across the state. Update 6:15pm: The story on Senator Tom Gaffey was near the top of the newshour on WTNH, which is now talking about the story on their blog. NBC30 also had a piece on the story, which has yet to be posted to the web.
